On Sat July 8th with the musical #pride unique to #Pleasantville the 13th annual #PleasantvilleMusicFestival will be held. Featuring everything from internationally known headlining acts, regional favorites, to local up and coming talent, this year’s festival promises to be the best one yet. The #onemanband thing has been done before but Will Evans Music takes it to another level. At an #exclusive and #unique event in Southbury, CT this past Friday, Will augmented his #superior #songwriting #skills by adding layer upon layer of loops using voices, guitar, and basically anything he could get his hands on (Aussie #didgeridoo pic courtesy of #pamnation ). The capital T in #talent , we look forward to #following him through future musical journeys . Again #kudos and #thanks to CONNartists who along with Pamnation open eyes to #quality music.

The Music Matters had a unique opportunity to attend an #exclusive#livemusic event in Southbury CT this weekend. Featuring UK #folk rockers Scars On 45 . Their music exhibits rich #harmonies and driving #rhythm. Highlighting tunes from their first two albums, they also performed music from their soon to be released third record. #kudos and #thanks to CONNartists and Pamnation for inviting us in.

The Music Matters had the adventure of a lifetime last week. It involved spending 14 of 24 hours on a bus from NYC to Richmond, VA and back but the opportunity to experience Rainbow Kitten Surprise in the flesh was worth it. These guys travel for us, we owe it to travel to them when we can

With no New York dates on their current tour schedule, We had to take music matters in our own hands and travel to Richmond VA. Rainbow Kitten Surprise was scheduled to perform between festival dates where they have been wowing tens of thousands. With threats of thunder storms no one was sure if they would actually perform but, to the delight of their fans, the show went on as scheduled. Even towards the end,as the rain came down, RKS did not disappoint. Future blogs will show pics and vids but,this one captures the exuberance of the audience and the spell the band cast upon them
